Welcome! We are the Generation Now Student Ministry of Living Word Church. Our mission is to reach the youth of this GENERATION and empower them to make an impact on their world, NOW! We meet each week to hang out, eat some grub, encourage each other, worship God, be strengthened by the Word and just have fun! We would love to have you join us and get plugged in to what is happening in our ministry!

 The Eliminator is a team competition within our youth ministry. Young people are divided into 3 teams that battle each other in 3-month intervals. Each team chooses a color, a name and makes a team banner. The competition is based on a point system. Points are awarded to teams by winning games and challenges, church attendance, bringing visitors, etc. The team with the most points at the end of the 3 months wins the trophy and is awarded with a free outing! At the end of the 3-months, we take a month off, re-choose teams and the battle resumes!

Youth Church Model
We continually strive to develop the Youth Church model and instill this concept into the spirtual consciousness of
young people.
Differences between a Youth Group & a Youth Church...

• Youth Groups divide them into groups, but Youth Churches bring them all together.
• Youth Groups exist for the Church, but Youth Churches exist for the Community or City.
• Youth Groups sing, but Youth Churches Worship.
• Youth Groups rap, but Youth Churches receive.
• Youth Groups expect money, but Youth Churches receive/give money, because they have resources.
• Youth Groups are the Church of Tomorrow, but Youth Churches are the Church of Today!
